Please go to Settings -> General -> About. If the device is unlocked it will show “No SIM Restrictions” under SIM status once on this page.
I am trying to figure out if the device is unlocked to be used on any carrier.

As I answered before, it is from T-Mobile, as is also noted in the listing. That means it would not be unlocked. Since it is wiped, I have no way of logging into it for any further information.
